Pre-owned semi-grand concert pedal harp. 46 strings. Own a piece of Lyon and Healy and harp history with this gorgeous semi-grand Style 19 pedal harp built in the early 20th century in superior playing condition! The original owner of this harp played in Carlos Salzedo's famed harp ensembles in the mid-20th century and Salzedo himself performed on this harp! (see photos) This harp is being sold by the daughter of the original owner, both professional harpists. This harp was originally built in 1921, and has been rebuilt and restored by Lyon & Healy. It was completely rebuilt in 1960, and then restored again in 2005 with a new neck, cosmetic work, and more. Paperwork for restorations is provided. The gorgeous sound is rich and warm, typical of a beautifully-aged soundboard. Pedals are in excellent working condition with smooth movement. There is no noise in the action. This harp has been completely restrung with Premier gut strings and regulated by Bell Harp Tech in September 2019. The harp is in excellent structural condition. Purchase includes transport cover, tuning key, antique harp cart and harp bench (see photos below), if desired. The matching antique wooden music stand is also included if desired, but requires repair. |
